Deborama’s Kitchen — Reviews of meal kits, market boxes, and delivery services — Part four

The last part of this series will be somewhat specific to South Minneapolis in the Twin Cities, but since some of these services, if not the grocery store sources, are nationwide, it may be helpful for the rest of my readers.

I will be reviewing both the service and the store, since they somewhat work in tandem to “deliver the goods.” Originally, if you go back to Part One of the series and see what I listed as my intention, I was going to review a lot more stores + services. But I am having to cut back a lot on my spending, and time is a factor, too, the end is in sight for the pandemic, so it will be fewer than I said back then.

I will review (service first, then the store):
* Instacart — The Wedge Cooperative
* Instacart — Cub Foods
* Mercato — The Produce Exchange in Midtown Global Market
* Shipt — Kowalski’s
* Shipt — Target

Within this list, probably the one I used longest ago, and several times, was the Instacart service for The Wedge. I am a big supporter of food co-ops, and in Atlanta in the mid-1970s, I was an early member of Sevananda, Atlanta’s original and as far as I know, now its only, food co-op…
